1. Who we are and how to contact us
Retro Loot LLC operates RetroLoot.com, a trading-card and collectibles business. This policy describes how we handle personal information through our website, customer communications, purchases and trades, and the Retro Loot Inventory Manager eBay connection.
For privacy questions or requests, email retrolootllc@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Our business mailing address is Retro Loot LLC, 201 Rue Beauregard, Ste 202, Lafayette, LA 70508, United States.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, account details, and messages or photographs you submit when contacting us about cards, purchases, sales, or trades.
- Transaction information: items purchased, sold, or traded, prices, order and shipment details, payment status, refunds, and records needed to provide customer service and maintain business accounts.
- Website information: IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and shopping-cart or login-session information used to operate and protect the website.
- Payments: payment providers process payment details. We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, and limited payment-method information. Do not send full payment-card numbers or security codes by email or through our contact forms.
3. How we use information
We use information to process purchases and trades, arrange payments and deliveries, manage accounts and inventory, answer questions, handle returns and disputes, maintain business records, prevent fraud, troubleshoot website problems, and meet applicable obligations. If you subscribe to marketing or receive permitted cart reminders, we use your contact and cart information to send those messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in a message or by contacting us. Order, security, and other necessary service messages may still be sent.
4. eBay connection
Retro Loot Inventory Manager connects an authorized seller account to our business website through eBay’s authorization process. The account owner signs in on eBay; the connection does not collect the owner’s eBay password.
The current connection stores encrypted authorization credentials and tokens, seller account identifiers, and connection-verification timestamps. It uses these to establish, maintain, and verify authorized access. The current version does not import or store buyer records, order histories, or listing inventories, and does not automatically change stock or prices. We will update this notice before enabling features that introduce additional personal-data processing.
The connection receives eBay marketplace account-deletion notifications, verifies their authenticity, and removes the saved seller authorization and identity when a verified notification matches the connected account. Incoming notification bodies are not retained by the integration. The account owner can revoke application access through eBay and contact us to request removal of locally stored connection data. Revoking access prevents further authorized API use but does not itself remove every previously stored record.
Information obtained through eBay is used for the authorized connection and applicable eBay requirements, not for unrelated marketing. eBay separately handles information under its own User Privacy Notice.
5. Service providers and disclosures
Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate the business, including website hosting and backup services, payment processors, shipping carriers, email and form services, and technical-support or administration tools. Our website uses WordPress and WooCommerce, is hosted with Hostinger, and has WooPayments and email/cart-recovery tools installed. The providers involved in a transaction depend on the services you use and the payment or delivery method selected.
Authorized administrators may use connected support and AI-assisted administration tools to maintain the website. Information accessed through those tools depends on the task and permissions granted. Such access should be limited to information necessary for the task.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal requirements, respond to lawful requests, investigate fraud, protect rights and safety, or resolve disputes. We do not sell or rent customer lists. We do not use personal information for cross-context targeted advertising.
6. Cookies and external websites
Cookies and similar technologies support shopping carts, login sessions, preferences, security, and website operation. Where a cookie-preference control is available, use it to manage optional cookies. You can also manage cookies in your browser; blocking necessary cookies may prevent checkout or account features from working.
Links and embedded material from other websites may involve additional cookies or data collection controlled by those providers. Review their privacy notices before using those services.
7. Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as needed for its purpose, including completing transactions, providing support, resolving disputes, and meeting applicable accounting, tax, security, and other requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and the reason it is needed. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Backup copies may remain until replaced through the backup cycle.
We use safeguards intended to protect information, including HTTPS and restricted administrative access. Stored eBay credentials and authorization tokens are encrypted by the connection. No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask about additional rights available where you live. We may need to verify your identity using information reasonably necessary to protect your account. Do not include passwords, access tokens, or full payment-card details in a request.
Some records may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons. We will explain any applicable limits when responding. If you have a website account, you can also review and update available account information while signed in. Unsubscribing from marketing does not require deleting your account.
9. Children and processing locations
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Retro Loot operates in the United States. Our service providers may process information in other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or data practices change. We will post the revised policy here with an updated date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. Contact us at retrolootllc@gmail.com with any questions.
